What are you choosing? Are you choosing to take responsibility for your thoughts? Your actions? Your words? Your productivity? Your behavior? To be able to hold yourself accountable for your actions, good and bad, allows the power of change to occur without giving it a single thought.
Or do you blame everything that happens in your life on external factors that keep you bound to the negative aspect of your circumstances, which ultimately hinder your progress, growth and the chance to improve on your weaknesses.
Learning to admit your faults, your weaknesses makes you humble. It makes us vulnerable. Be brave enough to hold yourself accountable. Accept responsibility for your thoughts, which manifest in actions in our daily lives.

Repeat to yourself every day. I am Responsible.
Although I may not be able to prevent the worst from happening, I am responsible for my attitude toward the inevitable misfortunes that darken life. Bad things do happen; how I respond to them defines my character and the quality of my life. I can choose to sit in perpetual sadness, immobilized by the gravity of my loss, or I can choose to rise from the pain and treasure the most precious gift I have – Life itself.
