Summer time is right around the corner. With the heat it is expected to bring with it, staying cool is a must. I love smoothies, they are delicious, fun and easy to whip up. You can enjoy them around the pool deck with friends and family or simply make up a batch just because. I've found what seems to me, to be the simplest way to prepare them. Usually, recipes call for a variety of ingredients, but this one is so easy with only three ingredients, yep, that's right, three. Yippee! Exciting right? Who wants to go the grocery store for 10-15 items just for a simple smoothie. Below is a list of ingredients and instructions for a yummy Strawberry Smoothie
Ingredients and Instructions
3-cups frozen strawberries
1-1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup strawberry jam
Place all three together in the blender, secure lid, and blend away
Note: Frozen strawberries are preferred because they thicken the smoothie without having to add ice, as you would have to, if you decided to use fresh strawberries.
