The trees that are slow to grow bear the best fruit.
Moliere
When it seems like nothing's happening, better days don't seem to be coming, and there is no light at the end of the tunnel.... {Hold ON!} This is precisely the times in our lives that present us with yet another opportunity to practice patience. We often times want things to be a certain way and to happen within our time frame. Holding on to that notion and trying to control when and how things happen is a quick recipe for impatience which ultimately leads to anger, anxiety, stress, resentment, and feeling out of control. Stand firm in the belief that it will all fall into place as soon as you let it go. Believe that it will come in due time, exactly as it should and when it should. I believe in the saying..."All good things come to those who wait." Be okay with where you are! Know that things ARE happening, things ARE changing, maybe not how you 'think' it should, but nonetheless Life is preparing you for a greater experience. In the process, most importantly, embrace the slow, steadfast pace that seems to be keeping you at a standstill rather than having the desire to control the outcome. You'll be much happier and more at ease learning to sit still, having patience, anticipating the next transition.
